Classic Cushions and Umbrellas Warranty
Classic Cushions & Umbrellas warranty is extended to the original purchaser utilizing our cushions and umbrellas in ordinary home use. Classic Cushions & Umbrellas warrants that your cushion or umbrella is free from defects in material or workmanship as of the date of purchase and will, with proper care by the purchaser, remain so for a period of one year from the date of delivery. If your Classic Cushions or Umbrellas fail structurally during the period of one year from original purchase, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace without charge.
This warranty does not cover products used for commercial purchases, or products that have not been cleaned or maintained properly. This warranty does not cover normal fading or stretching that occurs in fabrics and upholstery materials. The warranty does not cover fading of polyester or printed acrylic fabrics. This warranty does not cover damage to umbrellas due to wind. All Classic umbrellas should be closed when not in use.
The original purchaser must provide proof of purchase when requesting service under this warranty. Classic Cushions & Umbrellas will not be responsible for any consequential damages, loss of use, or other expenses resulting from defective products.
ORDER PROCESSING: Email new orders to us to ensure that your order is expedited in the quickest possible time, please make sure you send complete information with regard to:
- quantity
- cushion style number and color number (orders placed using fabric names
or descriptions will not be processed) - umbrella style number and color number (orders placed using fabric names or
descriptions will not be processed) - shipping instructions
- purchase order number
- shipment date requested
All orders will receive an order acknowledgment. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the acknowledgment for accuracy. Notify Classic of any changes or errors immediately.
No changes can be made once the order has been cut.
Out of stock items will be placed on back-order and the order will be held until all items are
complete unless otherwise noted on the purchase order to Split Ship.
TERMS OF SALE: COD unless approved credit terms are arranged prior to sale. A 1.5% finance charge will be added to any invoice exceeding established credit terms.
FABRIC SAMPLES: New fabric swatches are available for $75.00. This fee is refundable after orders exceed
a minimum of $5,000.00.
CUSTOMERS OWN MATERIAL: Fabric in our current Swatchbook will NOT be accepted COM fabrics are accepted subject to factory approval. Customer must assume fabric liability. Contact factory for yardage requirements. Yardage quotes are based on 54’’ solid goods. A drawing must accompany order if fabric requires a special layout. COM fabrics are priced in the A category. Classic is not responsible for returning remnants.
MATCHING CUSHIONS: Cushions and umbrellas are randomly cut by machine; hand cut charge for matching will be 30% upcharge. Matching cushions must be specified when ordering. Please see fabric chart for patterns that may need to
be matched for sofas or loveseats.
FABRIC AVAILABILITY: Classic Cushions & Umbrellas offers the finest selection of fabrics in the industry. We strive to have all fabrics shown in current swatch book available at all times. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of every pattern or that certain patterns will not be discontinued by the fabric mills.
OEM CUSHIONS: Classic provides replacement cushions for many furniture lines. OEM cushions cannot be altered & may not be exact to original specifications. We do not recommend using our OEM cushions for any other furniture lines or groups other than those shown in our catalog.
WELTS: Fabric covered welts are available in same fabric or coordinating fabric. Adding a welt requires a 30% upcharge per cushion. Please specify 1/4 or 1/2 welt when ordering. Not all cushion designs accommodate welt. Contrast welt requires 10% upcharge. Items with contrasting welt are priced at the higher grade fabric.
RETURNS: All returns must be authorized by Classic Cushions & Umbrellas, and must be accompanied by invoice number and date. No changes in orders will be allowed if order is in process.
SHIPPING: FOB – Vero Beach, FL. Unless specified, Classic Cushions & Umbrellas will choose the least expensive carrier. International shipment handling fee is $25.00. Classic Cushions & Umbrellas cannot accept responsibility to collect freight on drop shipments.
FREIGHT CLAIMS: Cushions and umbrellas are delivered to the freight carrier in new condition. You must inspect goods on arrival and file a damage claim with the freight carrier – not Classic Cushions and Umbrellas. Apparent damage, concealed damage and shortage is your responsibility. Inspect your merchandise upon arrival and notify the freight carrier of any of the above problems.
DELIVERY: Classic Cushions & Umbrellas does deliver via our company truck to a large portion of South & Central Florida. Ask your customer service rep about specific delivery areas. Please inspect merchandise upon arrival and note any apparent damage or shortage on delivery receipt. Classic cannot accept responsibility for damage or shortage after delivery acceptance.

100% Acrylics, Acrylic & Jacquards
Acrylic fabrics are appropriate for either indoor or outdoor use. Solutions dyed acrylic features a soil and stain-resistant finish that can be cleaned with a solution of natural soap in lukewarm water. Solution-dyed acrylic does not promote mildew growth. However, mildew may grow on dirt and other foreign substances that are allowed to stand on the fabric. For mildew stains, prepare a mild solution of one cup bleach plus two capfuls of a natural soap per gallon of water. Sponge thoroughly with clean water and air dry.
Olefins/Polyester Blend
Blended to be very durable and naturally resistant to mildew and stains. Olefin fabric can be cleaned with a solution of warm water and a mild detergent. For stubborn stains, diluted bleach can be used without affecting the fabric color. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air dry.
Printed Acrylic
Acrylic prints offer vibrant color with all the weather and stain resistance of acrylic fabrics. The designs are printed on 100% solution dyed acrylic base cloth. Spot wash by sponging briskly with a natural soap in lukewarm water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to air dry. DO NOT USE BLEACH or harsh cleaners. These fabrics are not warranted against fading.
Printed Polyester
Polyester prints are appropriate for either indoor or outdoor use. Constructed of 100% polyester yarns, these fabrics are easily cleaned with a mild detergent and water. DO NOT USE BLEACH or use harsh cleaners. These fabrics are not warranted against fading.
Shadebrella
Shadebrella fabrics are specifically designed for outdoor use. PVC coated polyester yarn is woven to provide high strength and durability for slings and umbrellas. Shadebrella offers a 98% shade factor and can be easily cleaned with soap and water. Diluted bleach can be used if necessary for tough mildew stains.
Phifertex & Textilene
PVC coated yarn is woven in a mesh construction to provide breathable comfort and strength for cushions and umbrellas. With a 75% shade factor in umbrellas, Textra is designed to withstand continuous wear and exposure to outdoor conditions. To clean, sponge with a solution of one cup mild detergent with one cup bleach in three gallons of water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air dry.
Textilene Jacquard
These fabrics are specifically designed for outdoor use. PVC coated polyester yard is woven in subtle jacquard patterns and provides a 90-95% shade factor in umbrellas. Clean with a solution of one cup detergent with one cup bleach in three gallons of water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air dry.
