General Information

ORDER PROCESSING: Email new orders to us to ensure that your order is expedited in the quickest possible time, please make sure you send complete information with regard to:

  • quantity
  • cushion style number and color number (orders placed using fabric names
    or descriptions will not be processed)
  • umbrella style number and color number (orders placed using fabric names or
    descriptions will not be processed)
  • shipping instructions
  • purchase order number
  • shipment date requested

All orders will receive an order acknowledgment. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the acknowledgment for accuracy. Notify Classic of any changes or errors immediately.

No changes can be made once the order has been cut.

Out of stock items will be placed on back-order and the order will be held until all items are
complete unless otherwise noted on the purchase order to Split Ship.

TERMS OF SALE: COD unless approved credit terms are arranged prior to sale. A 1.5% finance charge will be added to any invoice exceeding established credit terms.

FABRIC SAMPLES: New fabric swatches are available for $75.00. This fee is refundable after orders exceed
a minimum of $5,000.00.

ALTERATIONS/ SPECIAL SIZES: Any variance in length within 4’’ from standard size will require a 30% upcharge. Any cushion wider than 23’’ requires double the amount of fabric and will be upcharged 60%. Cushion sizes may vary slightly from measurements shown in the catalog, and special request sizes. There can be no alteration of standard cushion thickness.

CUSTOMERS OWN MATERIAL: Fabric in our current Swatchbook will NOT be accepted COM fabrics are accepted subject to factory approval. Customer must assume fabric liability. Contact factory for yardage requirements. Yardage quotes are based on 54’’ solid goods. A drawing must accompany order if fabric requires a special layout. COM  fabrics are priced in the A category. Classic is not responsible for returning remnants.

MATCHING CUSHIONS: Cushions and umbrellas are randomly cut by machine; hand cut charge for matching will be 30% upcharge. Matching cushions must be specified when ordering. Please see fabric chart for patterns that may need to
be matched for sofas or loveseats.

FABRIC AVAILABILITY: Classic Cushions & Umbrellas offers the finest selection of fabrics in the industry. We strive to have all fabrics shown in current swatch book available at all times. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of every pattern or that certain patterns will not be discontinued by the fabric mills.

OEM CUSHIONS: Classic provides replacement cushions for many furniture lines. OEM cushions cannot be altered & may not be exact to original specifications. We do not recommend using our OEM cushions for any other furniture lines or groups other than those shown in our catalog.

WELTS: Fabric covered welts are available in same fabric or coordinating fabric. Adding a welt requires a 30% upcharge per cushion. Please specify 1/4 or 1/2 welt when ordering. Not all cushion designs accommodate welt. Contrast welt requires 10% upcharge. Items with contrasting welt are priced at the higher grade fabric.

Covers: Due to the highly tailored construction of our cushions, Classic does not recommend removing the covers. As with any item left permanently outside and exposed to the elements, regular cleaning is recommended.

PRIORITY RUSH: Rush orders are reserved for Classic’s stocking dealers only. Classic Cushions & Umbrellas will expedite orders marked Priority Rush to ship within 3 working days. Order should specify priority shipping instructions. There is a 25% upcharge for priority handling. Classic Cushions & Umbrellas cannot absorb priority shipping cost. Priority rush orders go immediately into production & cannot be canceled.

RETURNS: All returns must be authorized by Classic Cushions & Umbrellas, and must be accompanied by invoice number and date. No changes in orders will be allowed if order is in process.

SHIPPING: FOB – Vero Beach, FL. Unless specified, Classic Cushions & Umbrellas will choose the least expensive carrier. International shipment handling fee is $25.00. Classic Cushions & Umbrellas cannot accept responsibility to collect freight on drop shipments.

FREIGHT CLAIMS: Cushions and umbrellas are delivered to the freight carrier in new condition. You must inspect goods on arrival and file a damage claim with the freight carrier – not Classic Cushions and Umbrellas. Apparent damage, concealed damage and shortage is your responsibility. Inspect your merchandise upon arrival and notify the freight carrier of any of the above problems.

DELIVERY: Classic Cushions & Umbrellas does deliver via our company truck to a large portion of South & Central Florida. Ask your customer service rep about specific delivery areas. Please inspect merchandise upon arrival and note any apparent damage or shortage on delivery receipt. Classic cannot accept responsibility for damage or shortage after delivery acceptance.
